 Job Summary

Goertek Electronics is expanding their sales and marketing team based in their Santa Clara US headquarters.  
Goertek is looking for a Director of Business Development to focus on identification and development of new target accounts and go-to market activities for Goertek’s consumer electronic development and manufacturing capabilities. 
He/she will rely on their industry knowledge, professionalism, organization and ability to build relationships to drive revenue growth and client satisfaction.

  • Be the sales lead and account owner for new target accounts.  Identify, make initial contact, secure opportunities and develop relationships leading to long term strategic opportunities.
  • Lead contract discussions, price negotiations and be primary commercial contact for all business deliverables.
  • Provide oversight and direction for project teams via frequent communication with China-based development groups and account managers
  • Provide regular reporting to local and overseas stake holders on status of accounts, forecasts, critical issues and future needs.
  • The Director of Business Development will work closely with marketing to develop and execute product roadmap planning and product development strategies for GoerTek product lines.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and markets and provide insight on new potential opportunities.


  • Bachelor degree from an accredited institution with at least 5-8 years of experience in business development and account management with an increased level of responsibilities.
  • Experience in international EMS/ODM/OEM environments.
  • A proven record of working well internally and communicating with clients
  • Strong interpersonal skill and ability to develop relationships.
  • Organized and with excellent attention to detail
  • Energetic, thoughtful and hardworking with the ability to multi task and meet deadlines
  • Highly self-initiated to drive accounts and projects forward
  • Travel:  Domestic and International around 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background or experience in IoT, wearables, gaming or audio products.
  • Reading and/or writing in Mandarin is a plus
